The fourth official Open edX conference, and the first one to be hosted outside of the US, is taking place in may 2017 in Madrid, Spain, at the Carlos III University (UC3M).

This annual conference is for developers, system administrators, education specialists, and anyone who works with or wants to learn more about the Open edX platform.

As part of this year’s conference schedule, Felipe Montoya from the eduNEXT team, will be presenting a technical workshop on the use and extension of Xblocks.

In addition, The EMOOCs 2017 conference, will also be hosted by the University Carlos III, during the same week. This event is the fifth European MOOCs Stakeholders Symposium where representatives from top educational institutions across the globe will meet to learn, share and discuss about the ways to improve online and in campus education.
