Role Description

We are looking for a bilingual accountant with at least 2 years of experience. This role will focus on the accurate and efficient management of our accounting records and tax obligations. You will ensure that our financial operations are in compliance with regulations, and in this way contribute to the success of eduNEXT.

Requeriments

Professional in Accounting.
Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in accounting, preferably with experience in
development or start-up companies.
Knowledge of accounting tools and software.
Experience in the preparation and presentation of financial reports and tax returns.
Professional and Business-level English (B2+).
Intermediate Excel level.

Main responsabilities

1. Maintain and monitor accounting records, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
2. Maintain and monitor bank conciliations and conciliate financial transactions.
3. Manage monthly closure by reviewing the detail closure of income, outlays, portfolio and banking conciliations
4. Compliance with tax and regulatory obligations, including the preparation and submission of tax returns: Authorenta, Renta, VAT, ICA, Reitca, National and District Exogenous Information.
5. Preparation of financial statements and ensuring that the information is accurate (Liabilities and assets).
6. Keep up-to-date with accounting regulations and communicate changes when they apply.
